Welcome to the website of the parishes of
Welcome to this website originally written for the churches of Dodford, Everdon, and Weedon Bec which were together in one benefice. We have now had pastoral reorganisation which results in Weedon and Dodford joining Flore, the Heyfords, Stowe IX Churches and Brockhall to form the Upper Nene benefice. Everdon joins Badby, Charwelton, Fawsley, Newnham and Preston Capes to give the enlarged Knightley Benefice. As a temporary measure, this website is serving the original three churches.
Our church families aim to serve our village communities through prayer, worship, marking life events, pastoral help and social activities, in the name of our all-loving and almighty God. We treasure our church buildings as having been places of sanctuary and prayer for hundreds of years, and our worship within them renews and strengthens us as we try to live as God would wish. All – of any age, gender, race or lifestyle – are welcome to join us.
